Dr. Samantha Marocco, Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy, received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College, her MS in Basic Science-Gerontology from Clarkson University, and her BS in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College. She is a board certified specialist in Geriatrics and has diverse research interests in fitness and aging, Alzheimer's disease, and the oral history of her profession. She lives in Saranac Lake, NY with her family and enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, and canoeing in the Adirondacks.
Denise McVay, PT, DPT, GCS

Dr. Denise M. McVay is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Post-Professional Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Utica College. She joined the faculty in 1995, and teaches in both the entry-level ground-based DPT Program as well as the online distance program. Dr. McVay earned a B.S. in Sports Medicine from Marietta College, a BS/MS in physical therapy from D'Youville College and a DPT in physical therapy from Utica College. She is certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists (ABPTS) as a Geriatric Certified Specialist (GCS), and licensed within the State of New York. Dr. McVay continues her interests in the area of gerontology and research on balance in the elderly.
Ahmed Radwan, PT, MSc, DPT, PhD

Dr. Ahmed Radwan, Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy received his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomechanics from the University of Cairo in 2008, his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Utica College in 2007, his Master's degree (2003) and Bachelor's degree (1998) in Physical Therapy form the University of Cairo as well. He achieved his Master's and PhD degrees while concurrently working at the University of Cairo as an Assistant Professor of physical therapy and biomechanics.
Dr. Radwan has been teaching at both the entry level and post professional level of physical therapy education for the last 12 years and has been affiliated with Utica College since 2006. His research interests include the Biomechanical analysis (motion and 3D gait analysis) of different musculoskeletal and orthopedic clinical problems. He has been practicing as a physical therapist since 1998 with an interest in musculoskeletal clinical practice in both Egypt and the United States. His areas of expertise include the spine, the knee, particularly the ACL, and shoulder injuries and rehabilitation.
