Utica College Awarded Accreditation of Business Programs
UTICA, N.Y. (June 21, 2018) – The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners has awarded Utica College accreditation of its business programs.
The Certificate of Accreditation was presented to Utica College at the 2018 ACBSP Conference in Kansas City earlier this month.
“The accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the undergraduate and graduate business programs offered through the Department of Business and Economics at Utica College meet the educational standards established by ACBSP,” said Candace Grant, associate dean of business programs at UC.
Based on the Baldridge Education Criteria for Performance Excellence, ACBSP accreditation evaluates aspects of leadership, strategic planning, relationships with stakeholders, quality of academic programs, faculty credentials and educational support, said Stephanie Nesbitt, director of the college’s MBA program.
“Utica College has shown a commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process,” said Steve Parscale, ACBSP Chief Accreditation Officer. “This accreditation is evidence that Utica College is committed to providing the highest quality business education for its students.”
