Biography

Leslie Corbo, M.S., D.Sc., joined the Utica College faculty in 2012. As an assistant professor of cybersecurity, she teaches coursework for multiple programs, including the B.S. and M.S. in Cybersecurity programs, the B.S. in Criminal Intelligence Analysis program, the M.S. in Financial Crime and Compliance Management program, and the MBA program.

Corbo has worked as a Senior Information Security Program Manager, a Cybersecurity Analyst, an IT-Security Analyst, and an Information System Security Manager on DoD and DHS Science & Technology efforts. Her responsibilities included network monitoring, computer forensics, security policy management, analysis, and incident response.

Her areas of research include phishing emails, sentiment and behavior analysis, and social engineering.
