Biography

Ernest Bonat, Ph.D., was born and raised in Havana, Cuba, studied in Kiev, Ukraine for nine years, and launched his computer programming career in 1993 developing database business applications using Microsoft Visual Basic 3.0, Windows 3.11, and Access 2.0. He teaches computer science and business statistics courses for Portland Community College, Mount Hood Community College, University of the People, and the University of Phoenix.

Bonat has decades of experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying database business applications and data science projects using the following programming languages, database engines, and tools: C, C++, VB 6.0, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, Python, Python Data Ecosystem, PHP, Java EE, VBScript, VBA, VB.NET, C#.NET, SQL 99, SQL:2003, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Access, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Visual Studio .NET, and Eclipse ad NetBeans IDE.
