Mary Cooper, M.Ed., DBA, joined the Utica College faculty as an assistant professor in 2018. She brings with her more than 20 years of experience in public accounting with a specialization in taxation. Cooper is both a CPA and a CGMA, and has spent more than 15 years working as a supervisor/tax manager. Previously, she held a professor of practice position at Le Moyne College.
Cooper's research interest includes both tax and management accounting. Her recent paper "Conflict Management Style and Exhaustion in Public Accounting" will soon be published in a top accounting journal, Managerial Auditing Journal.
