Utica College is required to seek approval to offer distance education (online) programs in most states in the country. As these regulations are continuously evolving, Utica College makes every effort to maintain compliance and is working with each state to gain the appropriate authorization for each of our programs.
Utica College is authorized to operate in all states that participate in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA). Approval for institutional participation was granted on January 4th, 2017.
State Authorizations for the graduate Nursing programs
Due to compliance and regulatory reasons, Utica College is currently only permitted to provide online courses or instruction to students in the states listed below in the MS - Family Nurse Practitioner, MS - Nursing Leadership, and MS - Nursing Education programs. If you DO NOT currently reside in one of these states, you may not be admitted to a Utica College online nursing program. Florida State Licensure for the graduate Nursing programs
The Family Nurse Practitioner MS, Nursing Education MS, and Nursing Leadership MS programs are licensed by the Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education.
