National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity

Many schools offer programs in cybersecurity, but not all programs are created equal. Utica University is proud to be registered as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) university, setting it apart from the competition. The NCAE-C program is managed by the National Security Agency and works with partners like the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National Science Foundation (NSF) to provide schools with one of three designations.1

On this page you’ll learn more about what an NCAE-C designated school is, the three different designation types, what requirements a school must meet to qualify, and the NCAE-C benefits to Utica students.

What are National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C)

The National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity program exists to provide useful designations to academic institutions like Utica University. These designations prove that the schools meet the characteristics and standards set by the National Security Agency (NSA).
